The Blues Music Victoria Inc. Hall of Fame is held at the end of each calendar year, between October and December.
There are now three categories of inductee each year.
- Hall of Fame inductee:
nominated by the BMV Committee for artists who have made a significant contribution to blues music in Victoria. - People’s Choice Blues Legend:
nominated by Industry recognised Blues Radio Presenters and BMV Committee
inductee voted by members of the blues community in Victoria. - Industry Icons:
nominated by BMV Committee for industry professionals who have made a significant contribution to blues music in Victoria
