It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our esteemed committee members at Blues Music Victoria. Our beloved colleague passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 19th of April 2023.
Kel Arnott was a valuable member of our organisation and made significant contributions to the blues music community in Victoria, especially at the Sleepy Hollow Blues Club in Geelong. His passion for blues music was contagious and always brought a positive and enthusiastic attitude to our meetings and events.
Kel was a true champion of the blues, and his dedication to promoting and preserving this important genre of music will be deeply missed. He has played a vital role in helping establish Blues Music Victoria.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Kel’s family during this difficult time. We hope they find comfort in knowing that their loved one made a meaningful impact on the blues music community in Victoria and will be remembered with great fondness by all who knew him.
Rest in peace Kel. Your legacy will live on through the music you loved and the lives you touched.
